Our full-day Korčula boat tour covers the 45 nautical miles from Dubrovnik to Marco Polo's walled town, the reason it stays calm while Dubrovnik heaves. The old town is laid out like a fish skeleton, streets angled to pull in the summer maestral and block the winter bura; locals worked that out seven centuries ago.

Insider: It's a big day on the water, bring a light layer for the ride home; the maestral picks up after four.

The most common questions guests ask before booking.

See all FAQs
How far is Korčula from Dubrovnik by boat?
Forty-five nautical miles, about two to two-and-a-half hours each way by speedboat, with a swim stop at the monastery island of Badija on the run home.
Is Korčula worth a day trip from Dubrovnik?
It's the longest single-island day we run and the one guests thank us for most, medieval streets, island wine and open Adriatic both ways.
What wine is Korčula famous for?
White wines that barely leave the island: Pošip from the inland villages and Grk from the sand around Lumbarda. Order either by the glass inside the walls.
What’s included?
Skipper, fuel, water, soft drinks, beer and white wine, towels, SUP, snorkelling equipment, insurance and final cleaning. Free hotel transfer is also included. Lunch ashore is paid separately.
How long is the day at sea?
About ten hours door to door, with a couple of hours ashore in Korčula and two swim stops. On a fast boat the open-water legs are comfortable; we plan the route around the day’s conditions.
Is lunch included?
Lunch ashore is not included so you’re free to choose, but we’re happy to recommend or book a konoba in the old town and time the day around it.
Where does the tour start and end?
Boarding is at whichever of Cavtat, Lapad or ACI Marina Komolac is closest to you, with the transfer included both ways.
