A proposal boat in Dubrovnik runs almost always on the same arc: pickup an hour or two before sunset, a slow cruise past the Old Town walls and out into the bay, an anchor in a secluded cove, champagne on ice, and a deck cleared so that the moment is yours and only yours. The skipper drops the music when you signal, holds position so the photographer (if you brought one) gets the light right, and pours the second glass once you have said what you came to say.
Every detail is arranged in advance — the cove (we use three or four depending on the wind and the time of year), the timing against the actual sunset on your date, the music cue, the champagne brand if you have a preference, the rose petals on the deck if that is your taste or not at all if it is not. We never reuse a script; every proposal is built in a private conversation around what you actually want the moment to look like.
